How do I signup with MrWebGuy Hosting. Signing up with MrWebGuy is cheap and easy. Just use the signup form located HERE. Once you submit your order, you will receive a confirmation of account setup, and your account details will be sent once your account is activated. When transferring a domain, it can take 12-48 hours for DNS changes to take effect after submitting DNS info to your registrar. Below is the DNS information your registrar will need:

Do I need a Windows host since I have a FrontPage Website? No, absolutely not. A Unix or Linux based host is far more flexible and reliable than a Windows based host, and FrontPage extensions are completely supported.

Do you backup the websites you host? Yes, MrWebGuy performs daily backups of all data, which we use in the event of a catastrophic, multi-site failure. Your control panel also allows you to make complete, local backups that you can restore at anytime.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my account anytime? Yes, you can change plans at anytime. The cost will be prorated and and you will be charged or refunded as needed.

What is domain parking or domain pointing? Domain parking or domain pointing is the act of pointing, or redirecting a domain name at another domain name. For example, www.mrwebguy.net is parked on, or pointed at, www.mrwebguy.com, so all visitors to www.mrwebguy.net will see the content and web address of www.mrwebguy.com. Parked/pointed domains must be switched to our name servers before they can be parked/pointed.

What is a sub-domain? A sub-domain is a domain that is part of a larger domain name. For example, domains.mrwebguy.com is a sub-domain of www.mrwebguy.com. Note that the sub-domain is accessed without the www. Sub-domains are an easy way to host multiple websites with only one hosting account, or to share your account with a friend. 

What is an add-on domain? An add-on domain is a domain that points to a sub-domain. The add-on domain will display the contents of the sub-domain it points to, but retains the web address of the add-on domain. For example www.tow-pac.com is an add-on domain for domains.mrwebguy.com. Visitors to www.tow-pac.com will see the domains.mrwebguy.com website, but will see www.tow-pac.com in their browsers address bar.
